Does anybody know any solutions for this type of thing? The only idea I have is tricking it like when steam decides to randomly restart a download you had in progress and dragging the files into the games folders but I am not exactly sure how I would do that for this game since it has many folders.Īny help so I don't have to redo a massive download is appreciated!ĮDIT: After digging around a bit in the folders, I found some of the missing files in the Steam downloading folder. But anyways I want to fix this with steam.
The WT launcher has just a small 0.7GB update it wants to put through, I have not tested whether it will launch the game or not. Which is baffling since you download the game via the war thunder launcher, and NOT steam. Except I still have all the game files and even after validating them twice, steam still seems to think it needs to download the game again. īelow is a screenshot of of my steam, for some reason after my computer crashed it decided it wants to redownload the entire game. The fix by PawkoW worked for me so I will paste it here in the main post too, so please check it out and give him an upvote for making our lives less miserable.
